General Summary: Directs the planning, development and implementation of digital marketing content on behalf of the college. Also serves as member of the crisis communications team responsible for the dissemination of college closure communications.
Requirements: Bachelors required (master's degree preferred) in information technology, computer science or related field and minimum four years' experience. Prior experience with digital communications, tactics and strategy, web development projects and general marketing communications principles. Knowledge of CMS and ADA compliance preferred. Must be a self-starter and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

1. Serves as a key member of the PR & Marketing Department, overseeing the college's website and social media platforms with the goal of enhancing CCAC's image, developing brand awareness, encouraging enrollment and cultivating community engagement. Serves as a vital member of an internal strategic think tank responsible for helping drive the direction of the college's overall marketing communications.

2. Works with the executive director to enhance the college's visibility through the development of promotional campaigns, online marketing and website design using CCAC's website and social media. Directs the overall look and feel of the college's online marketing presence. Maintains CCAC brand integrity.

3. Assists with the dissemination of emergency closure communications serving in an on-call capacity and operating at the highest level of confidentiality. Identifies and reports notable threats and sensitive content to the appropriate individuals.

4. Oversees sourcing and managing content development and publishing. Directs efforts to develop, maintain and update the college website, including writing, editing and approving website content; overseeing training for content experts; addressing user queries; and monitoring website for errors, broken links and proper metadata and correcting where required.

5. Creates and optimizes content for multiple digital channels. Applies the principles of SEO including keyword research to ensure maximum visibility in the marketplace.

6. Develops and implements the department's social media strategy. Seeks out new content streams, curating useful and informative articles, news stories and communities from both internal and external sources. Actively researches and incorporates industry trends and best practices into digital content platforms.

7. Serves as the official voice of CCAC on social media, providing an online marketing presence, posting on relevant blogs, seeding content and engaging in online dialogue, responding to queries, concerns and direct mentions. Works with internal clients to develop and ensure that their digital presence adheres to CCAC brand messaging standards.

8. Manages social media analytics. Develops and maintains the digital marketing dashboard to track engagement and the effectiveness of CCAC's online presence.

9. Performs other duties as assigned or as required.
Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
