Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is now recruiting for an Intercollegiate Game Day Ticketing Intern for the Daytona Beach campus. The Intercollegiate Game Day Ticketing Intern assists in day-to-day operations of ticket sales for all home games. This includes, but is not limited to, sales, renewals, data entry, etc.
The intern will be compensated at a rate of $1,450 per month to offset their living expenses during this 10-month internship. Total compensation: $14,500. In addition, this internship provides a University meal plan.
Responsibilities include the following:
Oversee the scheduling of workers for all home athletic events.
Work at the ticket site on game day, processing sales, and manage the pass lists.
Reconcile sales at close of event.
Actively support and promote the NCAA’s Life in the Balance strategic positioning platform, embracing the six ideals of learning, balance, resourcefulness, sportsmanship, passion and service. The violation of NCAA and Sunshine State Conference rules is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
Knowledge of collegiate sports.
Excellent people skills.
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
Experience working in an intercollegiate athletic ticket office or game operations preferred.
