Assistant Director of Financial Aid – Financial Aid, School of Arts and Sciences – (21001002)
Description
Student Financial Services oversees financial aid, student employment, student loans and billing for graduate and undergraduate students, primarily but not exclusively on the Medford Campus.
Serve as a financial aid counselor for undergraduate students, performing need analysis, awarding aid, counseling students and parents on financial and billing matters. Also responsible for managing other programs as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by a bachelor’s degree and two years of financial aid, student service or college access experience, understanding of need-based financial aid.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with PowerFaids financial aid software would be a plus.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Long hours during peak processing season will be expected -nights and weekends
