College of Education, Child Care Access Means Parents in Schools (CCAMPIS) Grant
Under the direction the Dean of the College of Education, the Grant Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the operations of the Child Care Access Means Parents in Schools (CCAMPIS) grant. The Grant Coordinator will seek out and maintain partnerships that provide support for low-income parents to enroll at Kean University to finish their degrees or further their education through graduate work. The Grant Coordinator will support Kean university students’ who are parents’ efforts to complete their college degree through access to childcare and to other support services. The Grant Coordinator will track all activities related to and in support of the grant. This position may require a flexible schedule including evening or weekend hours as needed.
This position is grant funded and continued employment is contingent upon renewal of supporting grant funds. This position requires some travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree is required. Two years of relevant experience in leading a grant-funded or similar operational and programmatic project direction or equivalent experience is required. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Candidate must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills in planning, implementing, budgeting, supervising and evaluating activities.
