Job Summary:
Manager of Digital Solutions to drive effectiveness and innovation in the university portfolio of school, department, program/center, lab websites, and other high value digital assets, including mobile applications.  A dynamic team leader with a user-centered mindset, and an experienced software developer with deep knowledge of front-end and back-end solutions, partner with the Director in the strategic management and execution of our technology roadmap for Web Content Management System (WCMS) and related platforms and technologies that enable critical university business.  With a focus on continuous improvement, s/he will provide technical and operational leadership for services, craft and execute workflow methodologies that facilitate agility and collaboration, manage a team of a team of 4 developers, lead code review sessions, and serve as rollout manager for software releases.  S/he will provide coded technical solutions that leverage critical capabilities of our WCMS platform (Drupal 9/Acquia Site Factory) in tandem with JavaScript frameworks, API’s, etc., that scale to meet the growing demands of the community, support digital marketing strategies for the university, and meet other core business objectives.  A skilled and inclusive collaborator with a high degree of business acumen and knowledge of agile software development methodologies, the successful candidate is a detail oriented, highly driven, technology leader with expert people and client management skills, along with superb written and verbal presentation skills.  This position is eligible for remote work.
