This position facilitates employee development programs and learning experiences in partnership with our team that provides training workshops, small group facilitation, one-on-one coaching, change management, and organizational development.
Responsibilities may include:
Facilitate training classes and small group discussions
Diagnose gaps in employee skills, motivation and/or resources in consultation with university managers and develop plans to eliminate gaps
Provide insight, problem-solving and logical objectivity to complex organizational problems
Develop new training content and update existing content as needs change
Provide administrative and training support for a Learning Management and web-based Performance Management system
To be successful in this role, you should be a skilled facilitator who is comfortable managing classroom based workshops and small group discussions with all levels of employees from front-line to senior-level staff. You will routinely work collaboratively with the ODE team as well as stakeholders throughout the university. It is essential that you foster and promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all interactions. You will need to be flexible to shift with frequently changing priorities and build trusted relationships with a wide variety of constituents at the university.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
3 or more years of experience designing and delivering organizational training programs for adult learners.
Demonstrated experience working well with people at all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated ability to foster and promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in their interactions.
Demonstrated strengths in project management, communication and organizational skills.
Experience using remote teaching, conferencing, and course development tools like Zoom or Panopto.
Experience with adult learning techniques, delivery methodologies, curriculum development and assessment.
Providing professional/leadership coaching for individuals or teams.
Providing Organizational Development consultation with leaders and guiding them to a successful solution for their organizational and employee challenges.
Experience with web-based electronic systems such as Learning Management Systems, Job application/Position management systems, or Performance Management systems.
