Position Summary

The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for the Stress Management Program Coordinator position within Health Promotion. In this role, you will implement a comprehensive plan to develop a multi-modal stress management program to be utilized by the entire University at Buffalo student population.

Your responsibilities include:
    • Program planning, management and budgeting
    • Marketing and communications
    • One-on-one consultations with students
    • Supervision of Stress Management Specialist/Coaching Coordinator, undergraduate and graduate students

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or master’s degree or professional certification
  • Experience working in a health related discipline such as health promotion, public health, social work, psychology or closely related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a multidisciplinary environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a health related discipline such as health promotion, public health, social work or psychology
  • Experience working with college age populations
  • Certification in nationally recognized coaching program or will achieve certification within one year of hire
