Position Summary

The Admissions Assistant position will serve on the professional staff in the Educational Opportunity CenterOffice of Admissions. This person will work closely with the Admissions Recruiters to determine students’ eligibility and schedule students for Orientation and assessments.

The candidate for this position will:
    • Interact with the Supervisor of Enrollment Management as well as other Admissions staff to ensure that potential students receive accurate information on programming, schedules, prerequisites, and preliminary advisement on how to utilize BANNER self-serve.
    • Support the overall functions of the Admissions Office through assisting with recruitment and center events and activities as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

    • An associates degree, with 2 years of experience in an office environment.
    • Effective oral and communication skills.
    • A proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
