What You'll Do
The Registrar leads the student registration organization for a school; manages the office staff; and is responsible for academic records, registration, and transcript programs. This individual produces enrollment reports and statistics, ensures that the department provides high quality service, maintains the integrity of student data, and maintains compliance with federal and university regulations. S/he works closely with other student and academic service offices. The Registrar is responsible for information technology solutions, recommending and enforcing academic policies, and developing short and long term plans and operational procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of directly related experience.
- Management experience and knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding student records are important in this role.
- Knowledge of student information systems is required. This individual will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, solid analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multiple constituencies, excellent judgment, and superior organizational skill.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Staff are expected to work additional hours and support other student affairs departments during peak periods.
