Position: Athletics Trainer Department: Athletics

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Provide practice and event coverage for all team related events.
Coordinate all athletic insurance claims.
Produce weekly status reports.
Serve as primary supervisor and scheduler for student athletic trainers.
Strong leadership, organizational and computer skills.
Extensive injury treatment and rehabilitation background using a hands-on approach
Able to serve as an instructor to student athletic trainers
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Athletic Trainer/Director of Sports Medicine
Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s preferred
Eligible for Alabama State Licensure
Minimum of three (3) years experience working directly with college-level, high injury sports (i.e. football, soccer, etc.)
Current CPR certification
Must be a team player
Commensurate with education, training and experience
