This is a position in Sponsored Projects Services (SPS) within the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development which manages and supports the research infrastructure, provides good stewardship of external funding, and provides the best support possible for University researchers.
The role of the Reporting and Compliance Specialist is to assist SPS Agreement Administrators with compliance driven activities from sponsors prior to award acceptance and post-award reporting.
The primary duties of the Reporting and Compliance Specialist fall into the following areas:
* Review and verify information in university business systems, sponsor sites and internal records to be provided for Other Support (Just-in-Time) sponsor requests.
* Assist in coordinating post-award progress reporting activities, such as NIH RPPRs and other sponsor reports
* Assist in monitoring status of IRB and IACUC compliance for existing sponsored awards
* Assist in monitoring delinquent non-financial reports to ensure reports are submitted
