The Family coordinator position is a full-time, 12 month position.
The focus of the Family coordinator position is to support ongoing Preschool for All-Expansion (PFA-E) programming focused on the support of families receiving services through the program. The Family coordinator will report to the Practicum and PFA-E Director.
The Family coordinator will demonstrate an understanding of early childhood developmental stages, parenting concerns, community services and agencies. This individual will possess sharp communication skills and be culturally sensitive to the needs and issues of at-risk families. This individual will be responsible for coordinating parent education programs, parent-child interaction nights, and home-based family fun activities. This individual will participate in the initial screening process doing the parent-intake interview and parent education interest survey. This position will be vital in linking families with community resources and services. The Family coordinator will follow the Preschool for All operational calendar.
