The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the State University of New York at Buffalo invites applications for an Office Assistant 1 in the Department of Biochemistry. The Office Assistant will serve as the key administrative support person for the Department of Biochemistry serving faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities include:
* Front Desk Responsibilities.
* Administer Seminar Program including travel for external speakers.
* Support for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs
* Maintain day to day office operations.
* Provide teaching support to faculty.

We are an academic department within the Jacobs School that teaches undergraduate, graduate, medical and dental students. UB’s new downtown Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences features: Eight floors; 628,000 square feet, interior seven-story glass atrium, terra-cotta and glass rain screen façade, State-of-the art laboratory space, and a Built-in NFTA-Metro rail station for convenient public access.
