The Office of Marketing and Communications has overall responsibility for marketing and brand management, public relations and editorial services producing various print and web publications and communications for the University. The office optimizes the coordination of strategies and programs for these areas.


What You'll Do

The Internal Communications Writer/Project Manager is responsible for implementing strategic and tactical communications plans and for writing clear and compelling messages for significant internal university initiatives and announcements. Works closely with colleagues in University Communications & Marketing (UCM), Central Administration, and at the schools to help coordinate and streamline communications across channels to amplify messages and reach the Tufts community to increase awareness, build engagement, and inspire pride in the university.

What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements:

  • Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of Bachelor's degree and 5 -7 years of related experience
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education work experience desirable
