Position: Secretary/Records Clerk/Front Desk Supervisor Department: Student Financial Services

In keeping with the President’s commitment to Tuskegee University Becoming "One Tuskegee," the ideal Secretary/Records Clerk/Front Desk Supervisor will possess the willingness use their expertise in transforming Tuskegee into a leading 21st century living and learning environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain suitable customer service workspace for completion of financial aid documents. Log student documents into the Datatel system
Prepare electronic excel worksheets for various financial aid reports including expenditures, funding received, scholarships awarded, etc.
Type routine correspondence, form letters, award letters and rosters as assigned. Respond to inquiries as needed with telephone response, email, etc. in a timely manner
Answer telephone and provide information to callers or route calls to appropriate officials. File student folders in alphabet H-0
Notify prospective students of materials needed to complete their financial aid file. Greet visitors as they come into the office to talk with selected staff members
Compile all financial aid reports (i.e. annual, statistical, etc)
High school diploma
At least one year experience which must have included the performance of responsible administrative and office management duties
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
Typing and computer skills
Strong background/knowledge in use of databases and various software packages
Provide excellent customer service in a courteous manner
Commensurate with education, training and experience
