Position Summary
The Community Relations Associate supports the Vice Dean for Communications in promoting and protecting the law school’s image and reputation across the nation and throughout the world. The position assists with all communications and marketing initiatives and the timely dissemination of law school news, and supports the administration of the law school’s extensive continuing legal education program serving thousands of alumni and other practitioners throughout the State of New York.

Key responsibilities include:
Creation/design of marketing and communications materials;
Data collection, management and staging;
Editing of all internal and external publications;
Collection and promotion of faculty scholarship and engagement activity and information regarding law school events;
Assistance with compliance with all New York State Continuing Legal Education requirements;
Other general administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. required
Experience in marketing or communications environment required.
Must be proficient with all Microsoft products, particularly Access, Power Point and Excel.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced with Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Preferred Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. preferably in Communications or related area.
Experience in academic setting preferred.
Experience with CMS/website management system preferred
