What You'll Do

The Senior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide candidates for a variety of technical positions by developing and implementing sourcing plans, by actively leveraging social networking and recruitment tools for targeted sourcing initiatives. Includes:

• Working closely with TTS' Assistant Director for Business Planning & Administration, and TTS' senior leaders and hiring managers to create regular workflows and methodologies for creating more robust talent pools. Contribute to TTS-specific efforts to build ongoing candidate networks, conduct community outreach, and advance diversity recruitment initiatives.

• Building pipelines of technical candidates that can be shared across the TTS' Hiring team, especially for frequently filled frontline service positions at many levels. This includes, cultivating relationships, having an awareness for strong potential candidates, maintaining pipeline and leveraging candidates across multiple searches.

• Determining where additional diversity talent pools exist and work collaboratively with TTS' hiring managers to execute on additional sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools via university affiliations, organizations, schools, and programs.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications. Candidates should possess:

  • A passion for recruiting/sourcing and a deep curiosity about people. Experience and education equivalent to an associate degree and 5+ years of related experience plus extensive direct sourcing strategies and practice for technical positions at all levels experience creating appropriate recruiting intake and plans with hiring managers and successful execution against those plans, meeting goal markers to hire.
  • Strong research skills and knowledge of technological labor markets, industry practices, and concepts within the field. Working knowledge of recruitment practices and Massachusetts employment laws
  • Solid understanding of and proficiency with traditional web sourcing techniques and networking skills, recruitment related technology and systems related to social and professional networking, applicant tracking, and conducting internet searches
  • Proficiency with social media sites and opportunities, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and others.
  • Ability to develop, implement and execute recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and help build a healthy pipeline of candidates
