The Accreditation Administrator is part the UB GME Accreditation Team, which handles day-to-day accreditation oversight for 68 ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs from the state-of-the-art Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus. This position reports directly to the Director of GME Accreditation/Assistant Designated Institutional Official and works closely with the Senior Associate Dean for GME/Designated Institutional Official, Assistant Dean for GME, and GME Accreditation Manager. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • serving as the institutional MedHub liaison
  • educating colleagues on use of the MedHub system
  • collecting and analyzing accreditation data
  • providing administrative management for monthly Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) meetings
  • providing administrative support to the Program Quality Review Subcommittee (PQRS) of the GMEC
  • serving as course coordinator for the Quality Improvement/Patient Safety (QuIPS) Educator Program
  • monitoring program compliance with internal and external accreditation deadlines
  • providing general support to the UB GME Accreditation Team

Salary: $35,000 – $45,000
