Scheduling Specialist - Flight

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

Utah Valley University is currently seeking a Scheduling Specialist for the Aviation Flight department! Working under the direction of the Program Manager - Flight, this position facilitates flight schedule assignments each semester and monitors their execution throughout the semester to maximize resource utilization and encourage on-time course completions. This position works in the records office performing various complex and confidential administrative duties in cooperation with the Records Specialist to collect, and maintain accurate flight, financial, employment, and academic records. This is a collaborative position participating in customer service, data collection processing to enable student success through the three core values of Utah Valley University. Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelors or an associates degree and two years of experience related to the summary of duties or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of business office methods, techniques, practices & procedures

Knowledge of data management strategies and reporting best practices
Knowledge of budget and accounting principles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
Some knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration Regulations preferred but not required
Knowledge of effective supervisory procedures and techniques

Consistently | Seeing; required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and reports; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive inspection involving small defects, small parts, operations of machines (including inspection) or to make general observations facilities or structure (i.e. security guard, inspectors, etc.); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distance close to eye.

Pay Range: $34,097 - $42,621
