Grants and Contracts Administration (GCA) supports the University of North Texas, a tier 1 research university, in its endeavor to excel in its research mission. This position is responsible for administering financial accounting for sponsored grant awards; including review and setup of awards, monitoring progress, preparing invoices and financial reports, and performing award close-out duties. Must be able to interpret award guidelines, and remain current with federal and state policies for external sponsors to maintain legal and financial compliance. Position also assists in preparing documents for information requests, financial reporting, audits, and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Higher Education, or other related field and four years of professional business administration, grant and contract administration, or research work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
