Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking to hire a Sport Complex Facilities Intern at the Daytona Beach campus. The Sport Complex Facilities Intern will have a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the daily upkeep of NCAA Division II outdoor athletic venues, including Baseball, Softball, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Tennis, Men’s & Women’s Track & Field, Men’s & Women’s Lacrosse, and Men’s and Women’s Cross Country facilities. Candidate will provide daily support in cleaning, maintaining, and repairing athletic facilities.  In addition to facilities support, candidate will also support the execution of event operations for all preseason, regular season, and post season games, as well as for contracted events with outside organizations.  Seventy (70) percent of job involves facility upkeep with tasks such as, but not limited to, pressure washing, painting, repairing windscreen, conducting field and facility reports, trash pickup, cleaning, etc. Thirty (30) percent of job involves event management.Above all else, candidate must have a "can do" attitude.ScheduleSchedule will vary and candidate is expected to work many nights and weekends.10 Month position starting in mid-August and ending mid-May.PayThis position pays a bi-weekly stipend as well as a campus meal plan.
