The Auburn University Harbert College of Business seeks a Communications Editor (Professional Business Writer) to join the college’s Office of Communications and Marketing.
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining, designing and building news stories for the Harbert College of Business website via the college’s content management system. See examples of news story writing assignments here: News (auburn.edu)
Editing, producing and proofing publications, articles and other materials intended for the promotion of the college;
Writing, editing and pitching Press Releases;
Serving as the liaison with local, regional and national media representatives as well as Auburn University’s Office of Communications and Marketing.
