Position Overview
The Division of Enrollment at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Assistant Director, Visitor Experience to join our team. This key position assists the Director of Visitor Experience in all strategic and operational activities relative to the customer experience in the Welcome Center. The Assistant Director strategically manages all aspects of the Eagle Ambassador (tour guide) program and personnel, providing vision, leadership and training with emphasis and customer service excellence, professionalism and UNT pride.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous Admissions Office experience.
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment and admissions practices within a higher education setting.
- Thorough knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population.
- Ability to develop recruitment programs, create effective materials, and effectively plan and coordinate group events.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support diversity of prospective students, community, constituents, staff, faculty, and other parties connected to this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Student supervisory experience preferred
