Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Temporary or part-time faculty position to meet an immediate need in the Department or Specialty Unit in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Adjuncts are hired on a part-time basis to augment the instructional needs that current faculty members are not available to meet.
A graduate or first professional degree within the discipline or directly related field. A PhD, or DVM or equivalent degree required depending on the area of need. Specialty Board certification or residency training required for the DVM program.
Desired: Three or more years of college level academic experience after the degree or six plus years college or business industry experience after the degree (depending upon ranking).
Experience with online instruction
Excellent communication skills
Qualified candidates will be chosen from the Adjunct Faculty Pool as employees to teach courses, make presentations, provide facilitation, or other service activities defined in the future at Tuskegee University as required.
