Position Summary
A dynamic pain research group from the University at Buffalo is seeking a Project Aide to assist in performing behavioral and molecular experiments seeking to identify and validate novel molecular targets to treat pain. The research utilizes a combination of biochemical, molecular and pain behavioral approaches to validate molecular targets.
Specific duties in the lab include:
- Care of animals used in research
- Observation and recording of animal behavior
- Assist with small rodent surgery and preparation of tissue samples
- General laboratory maintenance
Candidates with animal experience will be given the highest priority.
