Position Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Behavioral Medicine, is actively recruiting for a Project Staff Associate. The Project Staff Associate performs a vital role for the Division by coordinating various components of administration.

Primary responsibilities of the Project Staff Associate include, but are not limited to:
Administration and oversight of research pre and post awards.
Submission and annual maintenance of IRB approvals in Click systems.
Staff appointments and reappointments.
Daily/Monthly QA reports.
Purchase and reconciliation of orders through Shop Blue.
Research subject recruitment, screening, scheduling, enrollment, randomization and tracking.
Financial administration of research funds and state funds.
Assist with preparation and submission of annual progress reports and yearly budget requests.
Maintain study documentation in the Clinical Trial Management System.
Schedule and coordinate agenda and follow up minutes for monthly division meeting.
Management of travel and conferences through Concur.
Maintain and update CV, eCV, bio sketch, other support forms.
Prepare reports and documents, as requested by faculty or senior administrator.
Create and respond to correspondence with University personnel as well as domestic and international vendors, researchers, students.
Assist with interviewing, on-boarding and training staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with 2 years of research pre/post award experience.
Proficient computer skills and familiar with basic software (i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of research fiscal management.
Have experience working as part of a research team.
Have familiarity with preparing and managing IRB protocols.
Highly organized.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
