This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay.
Our lab uses both in vitro and in vivo models of neural cells to investigate the application of foods and diet, in particular, nutrients and bioactive compounds, that may improve brain function during aging.
What You'll Do
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include but not limited to performing assays, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and participate in some animal procedures.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science with up to 1 year laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
