The Transfer Credit Evaluator (TCE) will assist admissions in providing support to strengthen transfer recruitment efforts which support enrollment management strategic initiatives and transfer portal efforts.

The TCE will focus on annual evaluations, providing the correct equivalencies, utilizing the correct course offerings, verifying that all program/curriculum remained the same, and documenting any student learning outcome changes, credit hour differences, semester/quarter system differences, how much time that has elapsed from the previous review, articulation agreements, etc. Work with Admissions staff to build transfer guides from equivalencies. Work with Departments on determining equivalencies. Work with residential campuses on shared residential equivalency rules. Proactively building equivalency tables with known feeder schools to ERAU. Continued review of existing equivalencies that have been identified. Maintaining tables and changes that occur at other institutions/curricula changes. Reviewing the shared tables with ERAU Worldwide. Responsible for building out and reviewing the equivalency tables for universities with multiple campuses. Responsible to work to develop equivalencies that can then be used to broaden the database when students put their information in about an existing school.

Essential Job Functions:

Work with Admissions staff to build transfer guide equivalencies, including proactively for feeder schools – 35%
Work with Departments to determine equivalencies – 15%
Work with residential and worldwide campuses on shared residential equivalency rules and tables – 15%
Continued review and updating of existing equivalencies 15%
Respond to EAB Transfer Portal inquires for specific transfer equivalency requests 15%
Other duties as assigned 5%


Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years or professional work related experience

Required skills, knowledge, abilities:

Familiarity with computers/technology and information systems
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Ability to evaluate and interpret college transcripts and course descriptions
Experience with Microsoft office Suite and strong computer literacy
Ability to communicate well with all levels of University staff and administration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with any student information system preferably Oracle Campus Solutions
Experience with any type of document imaging and workflow system
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
