Seeking a candidate with science background to serve as a laboratory technician. Work will be performed in a fast-paced, cutting-edge stem cell laboratory at the Department of Oral Biology, University at Buffalo, SUNY. The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple detail-oriented tasks with minimal supervision, capable of trouble-shooting and critical thinking, self-motivated, dedicated and creative. Excellent organizational skills, ability to work well with others, and willingness to learn new lab techniques and follow instructions are key.

o Culture of mouse embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells
o Flow cytometry
o Molecular assays such as real-time qPCR
o Work with laboratory mice (colony management, genotyping)
o Tissue embedding/sectioning/immunohistochemistry
o Microscopy (light, epifluorescence, confocal)
o Gene editing.
