The primary functions of the Office Manager position are to provide specialized support to the department chair, secretarial support to the faculty, and manage the undergraduate student office. Other important functions of the position are communication and supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities (generally)
The person in this position will be involved in (but not limited to) the following duties: provide daily management skills in budget, purchasing, personnel, student enrollment processes both Undergraduate and Graduate, support for faculty committees and public relations. This person will report to the department chair advising on actions required for various deadlines, implementation of college goals, general research and coordination of department activities
Minimum Required Qualifications for this position
CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
1. High school graduation or equivalent
2.
