The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the daily tasks for a federally funded psychological research project. The research project involves the development of a preventive intervention to reduce college women’s hazardous drinking and risks for sexual assault, as well as implementation of a small Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) to test the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of the intervention. Principal Investigators Kathleen Parks, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist, Department of Psychology and Clara Bradizza, Ph.D., Professor, School of Social Work supervise the operation of this study.
The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer literacy skills. The candidate will have experience implementing research protocols, including obtaining informed consent, and maintaining the integrity of data collection. The Project Coordinator will supervise a project Research Technician in project tasks including: study recruitment, screening and scheduling of participants, data collection, and implementation of the intervention protocol. The Project Coordinator will receive supervision from the principal investigators, as needed.
