Position Summary
As a part of our service oriented benefits and work/life team, you will collaborate with and advise new and existing employees on benefits both at the beginning and throughout their career at UB. In this role, you will:

  • Help to lead and support campus efforts to transform UB into a great place to work
  • Assist with welcoming new employees to campus, helping them complete paperwork, learn about their benefits and work/life options at the university
  • Create and coordinate programs aimed at delivering work/life services to employees
  • Create market and communication plans in collaboration with the HR communications team
  • Provide back-up for benefits
  • Assist with educational assistance programs, tuition waivers and leave management

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A combination of education and experience or relevant military training may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree on a year for year.

In addition to being detail oriented, to be successful in this position, you must have:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Organizational skills
