The Department of Anesthesiology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, invites applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Training Program Administrator for Anesthesiology Residency Program.

In this position, you will:
  • Assist Program Director and Office Manager/Training Program Administrator with all aspects of residency interview sessions, including the recruitment and selection process
  • Prepare residency Rotation schedules and maintain data entry in ABA, ACGME, UB and GME
  • Organize Journal Club meetings for residency including announcing meetings and distributing articles
  • Process recommendation letters, verifications, deferment requests, etc. for residency
  • Organize and attend orientations, graduations and other important residency events
  • Update maintain electronic and paper files, contact sheets and checklists for residency
  • Assist in the organization and attend (take minutes) of Council Meetings, Faculty Retreats, Mock Oral sessions
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations and office confidentiality expectations
  • Provide general backup office support for the Department (incoming phone calls and greeting visitors)
