To provide tutorial assistance in mathematics, science, and communications skills.
To serve as an aide to instructors.
To function as an appropriate role model.
To assist in other program related activities such as field trips, workshops, hall meetings, athletics, etc.
To maintain availability for guidance and tutoring at all times, in addition to established tutoring hours.
To monitor meals and nutritional requirements.
To assist in supervising participants in residence hall, including evenings and weekend activities, and to abide by the 24/7 nature of the job.
Graduate or undergraduate students in good academic standing. Prefer individuals with teaching experience at the secondary level, and who have succeeded in obtaining a post-secondary education.
Ability to work with, and encourage, Low-Income and First-Generation participants.
