Current research efforts are focused on elucidating the transcriptional regulatory network governing the differentiation of oligodendrocytes in the central nervous system (PLoS Biology 11(8):e1001624).
The Hunter James Kelly Research Institute (hjkri.buffalo.edu) is housed in the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences (www.bioinformatics.buffalo.edu) on the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Campus adjacent to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Hauptman-Woodward Institute.
