The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Division of Behavioral Medicine, is recruiting for a Research Support Specialist to implement protocols for studies involving infants, toddlers and children.
Our primary focus of research is the study of obesity and eating and activity behaviors. Researchers in our division have also focused on diabetes, psychological stress, asthma, feeding disorders, sleep disorders and issues associated with drug dependence. Primary responsibilities of the Research Support Specialist for the Infant Lab include:

* Assist in completing research with an emphasis on infants and toddler nutrition.
* Implement study protocols, use innovative skills in recruiting, screening, scheduling and assessing research participants.
* Assist in material development and preparation, conducting interviews, administering measures, following research protocols, data collection, coding, and entry.
* Assist in management of students.
* Attend research meetings, and conduct literary searches.
* Photocopying, collating and filing.
* Assist the Project Coordinator in daily tasks in order to run the lab efficiently.
