The Assistant Athletic Trainer provides support and training for the student-athletes in regards to prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries sustained by intercollegiate athletes participating in Division I Sports Programs.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operation of the Alumni Arena Athletic Training Room and/or Stadium Training Room, and duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine.
- Coordinate NATA CEU activities. Schedule and coordinate all medical appointments for the assigned sport programs. Maintain accurate daily injury reports, treatment reports and rehabilitation notes for all athletes.
- Responsibilities may include nights and weekends. Attend home and away games and practices with the assigned sport programs.
