The Department of Anesthesiology, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, invites applicants to apply for the position of Training Program Administrator for Anesthesiology Fellowship Program & Assistant Training Program Administrator for Anesthesiology Residency Program. In this position, you will:

  • Receive and distribute applications for fellowship/residency programs, organize fellowship and residency interview sessions and participate in selection process
  • Assist the Program Director and Office Manager with residency/fellowship recruitment efforts, including meetings and oversight of UB Anesthesia website and other media
  • Prepare and maintain residency/fellowship rotation schedules for residency/fellowship programs
  • Maintain data entry for residency/fellowships with ABA, ACGME, UB, GME, et al.
  • Organize Journal Club meetings for residency/fellowships including announcing meetings and distributing articles
  • Process recommendation letters, verifications, deferment requests, etc. for residency/fellowships
  • Organize and attend orientations, graduations and other important residency/fellowship events
  • Update maintain electronic and paper files, contact sheets and checklists for residency/fellowships
  • Assist in the organization and attend (take minutes) of Council Meetings, Faculty Retreats, Mock Oral sessions
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations and office confidentiality expectations
  • Provide general ANE backup office support for the Department (incoming phone calls and greeting visitors)
