Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, the Admissions Assistant is responsible for a full range of duties to support the Office of Graduate Admission. They will play an integral part in carrying out daily tasks such as coordination of the following aspects: the application review process, customer service, generation and management of student follow-up. The position is also responsible for assisting with the coordination and execution of GSE’s multi-channel admission communication plans that are designed to convert best-fit students through the admission pipeline, along with providing support of recruitment initiatives and events. This position will work in conjunction with the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, as well as the Assistant Directors of Communication and Recruitment. Superior customer service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail are paramount in the success of this position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1 year experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on experience working with databases and student information systems is strongly preferred, preferably with an admission CRM system.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Direct experience working in Higher Education or Admissions.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office software suite.
  • A commitment to diversity and an appreciation for working with diverse populations is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • 1 year of experience working in an office environment.
