Position Summary
The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for the Stress Management/Wellness Coaching Specialist with Health Promotion. In this role, you will be part of a team that will implement a comprehensive multi-modal stress management program serving the University at Buffalo’s student population.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the Wellness Coaching program
- One-on-one consultations with students
- Plan and implement stress management programs and services
- Assess and evaluate programs and offerings; make recommendations and implement improvement strategies based on findings
- Develop and deliver wellness coaching marketing materials

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree
- Degree in a health-related discipline such as health education, health promotion, public health, social work, psychology or closely related field
- Experience working with college-age student population.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, project management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in field related to health behavior, health communications, social work or counseling
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Certification in nationally recognized coaching program or will achieve certification within one year of hire.
