Departmental Overview
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics consists of more than 275 staff members and coaches and sponsors 30 varsity sports programs. These 30 programs include more than 850 student-athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). We are currently seeking a Director, Football Video Production.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Video Coordinator will assist the Director of Football Technology & Video in overseeing the football program's audio/video needs, including practice and game coverage, film breakdown, video exchange, film library, maintenance and replacement plans for associated software and hardware, and audio/video setups and video productions needed throughout the football operation.
Work with coaching staff filming, editing, and organizing practice video
Film all games meeting PAC-12 Conference rules and regulations
Upload and exchange video with PAC-12, NFL & Non-conference opponents using Catapult Vault Exchange
Ingest and disseminate all PAC-12, NFL & non-conference video into Catapult Video System
Assist recruiting department with Catapult System
Transfer game content to coaches iPads at all home and road games
Upload, manage, maintain and organize all video on Catapult ThunderCloud
Manage user accounts on Catapult ThunderCloud System
Routine maintenance on all Catapult workstations as directed by the Director of Football Technology and Athletic IT staff
Assist football staff with all multimedia importing into Catapult Video System
Develop and maintain video filters/cut-ups for staff game plan for various scenarios
Distribute all video content in compliance with PAC-12 conference rules; exchange content with non-conference opponents; submit content to NFL and select CFL teams.
Assist in iPad deployment and troubleshooting
Provide input on new equipment to help with technology development an efficiency
Assign access to staff and players for playbook documents
Import and resolve all Pro Football Focus data with opponent scout and NFL games
Assist with hiring, training and supervising student staff
Facilitate the video recording and distribution of meetings, clinics and recruiting as necessary
Assist with the setup and coordination of A/V needs for meeting rooms for home and away games at team hotel
Required Qualifications
Experience in football coaching video capture including Catapult Thunder software and digital video acquisition equipment or related technology
Experience filming football practice & games to capture relevant actions for coaching analysis
Experience leading and directing student video assistant employees
Must be flexible to travel with assigned teams as required and work non-traditional hours.
Must maintain current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the Pac-12 Conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the Berkeley campus of the University of California adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards
Must demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonnal communications skills
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent years experience/training
Salary & Benefits
