The Auburn University Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking applicants for a Systems Engineer in the Enterprise Systems Group. This position reports to the Manager of the Enterprise Systems Middle Tier Group. This position will be responsible for the support of various enterprise software packages by utilizing best practices for all assigned systems, troubleshooting, and problem resolution, assisting in the planning and execution of software patch or upgrade cycles, and being willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed. In addition, this position will work closely with IT personnel and end-users from different disciplines and backgrounds. After-hours and on-call responsibilities should be expected.
Working onsite is a requirement of the job. May work up to 2 days hybrid remote in local area with supervisor’s approval.
