This is a full time research technician position in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Science at SUNY, University at Buffalo. The research focus of the lab is the study of retrovirus infections using in vivo and in vitro models.

You will:
  • Provide technical assistance to postdocs/graduate students and other research staff within the group.
  • Assist in the execution of small animal (mouse) handling and surgeries and participate in executing experiments involving cellular and molecular biology assays.
  • Be involved in the management and care of the animal colony.
  • Be involved the maintenance of lab equipment, preparing stock solutions and placing various orders based on lab needs.
