This is a part-time position, working 17.5 hours per week.
The Tufts Gordon Institute (TGI) provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to lead teams, and entire companies. Our graduate and undergraduate engineering management, innovation & management, and entrepreneurship programs are taught by faculty who have excelled in industry, have started and run their own companies and know what it takes to succeed in the business world. We help create transformative leaders across industries.
The Tufts Entrepreneurship Center (TEC) is part of the Gordon Institute and focuses on helping students, alumni, faculty, researchers and other members of the broader Tufts community embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset, helping them succeed wherever their careers take them – in a startup, in a large corporation, in a non-profit, in a government agency and more.
TEC offers academic courses and co-curricular activities, including educational workshops, speaker events, meetups and hackathons, venture competitions, entrepreneurial achievement prizes and a summer venture accelerator. We collaborate with faculty, innovation leaders in other schools within Tufts, external organizations serving the startup community as well as a large network of alumni volunteers to deliver practical entrepreneurship teaching and experiences to help students become transformative leaders with heart who are deeply in tune with society and make a positive impact on the world.
The role supports and contributes to development of TEC’s curricular and co-curricular goals and strategies. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the TEC team to plan, market and implement educational workshops, speaker events, meetups and hackathons, competitions and more, and support general administration of the center.
