Position Summary
As the Assistant Director of Employee Relations, you will be providing problem solving expertise and administer contract provisions as they relate to an employee and management’s concerns. Tasks include:
· Administer the grievance process
· Resolve workplace conflict including advising on corrective action processes, investigating complaints, and determining instances of employee discipline
· Prepare responses to improper labor practice charges
· Train on employment related topics
· Serve on various committees

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree. Advanced degree preferred with background in law, labor relations or public sector personnel administration.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in employee or labor relations. A combination of work experience and education will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
