This is a limited term position ending June, 2021 with possibility of renewal.
The Operations Coordinator will serve in a key role managing operational aspects of the University process on isolation and quarantine for on and off campus students. By working closely with campus colleagues, vendors, students, and with existing technology, the Coordinator will ensure a smooth and organized experience for students moving in and out of quarantine and isolation.
Reports to Asst Dir for Residential Operations
Serve as primary contact for all operational components of isolation including ensuring proper cleaning and turnover of Mods spaces, ensuring all technological aspects (through StarRez and the University COVID dashboard) are updated in a timely fashion, and managing the facilities needs in the isolation housing units.
Serve as primary contact for all operational components of on-campus quarantine including support of in situ quarantine students related to cleaning roommate space/section of the room, and supporting moving students to separate quarantine area (Hill Hall) as needed and directed by Student Health.
Maintain relationships with all vendor service providers including C&W (through Facilities), linen vendors, MicroFridge for maintenance and repair of in-room units, and any others that may be involved.
Ensure clear communication with Dining Services related to meal delivery (as needed/required).
Participate in morning Isolation/Quarantine Huddle Meetings with Student Health, Residential Life, DOSA, and Dining Services.
Knowledge and experience as typically acquired by a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with college students and working on a college campus.
Experience managing operational processes, relationships with vendors, and technology (StarRez knowledge highly desired)
