University Advancement has two vacancies on the fundraising team working in support of the newly created Regional Advancement program. A Senior Director/Director/Associate Director of Advancement title will be considered, dependent on the selected candidates’ qualifications for this position. The incumbent will play an integral role in establishing a comprehensive advancement program within the Northeast region United States, geared to successfully meet the university’s goals for short and long-term private support. The Regional Advancement Officers will be tasked with:

• Developing, strengthening, and growing a full pipeline of prospects capable of making major gifts of $50K-$100K+ (dependent on title) across the full spectrum of stage development, ranging from discovery through stewardship.
• Establishing collaborative partnerships with all schools and units, staying abreast of the recent developments, priorities, and fundraising initiatives across the UB enterprise, and effectively communicating about and engaging individuals in the mission of the university and/or the respective units based on the prospect’s philanthropic interests.
• Working with colleagues within University Advancement to plan and implement a comprehensive regional program designed to increase engagement and philanthropic support from alumni and friends.
