The Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), is seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional and Shared Interest Program Coordinator. OAR, in collaboration with the Tufts University Alumni Association, strives to build lifelong relationships with students and alumni, with the goal of keeping alumni actively engaged and contributing to the university. We engage alumni through extensive programming initiatives in Boston, throughout the United States, and around the world catering to a variety of alumni needs and interests.
The Program Coordinator will be an integral member of OAR’s regional and shared interest team, providing advanced administrative support, preparing digital communications, gathering and analyzing engagement data, and supporting the team in a variety of volunteer management and event planning projects. High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of related experience OR bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including word processing, editing and graphics functions, spreadsheet, and database knowledge.
Budget management knowledge and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Previous experience in alumni relations, communications, development, or nonprofit setting preferred.
Experience with the following systems (or similar) preferred:
Advance (or other CRM)
CVENT Event Management Software
Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Qualtrics Survey Tool
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and maintain focus in a fast-paced office environment.
