Student Services Accounting Technician I
(Student Business Office)

Review Date: March 28, 2018

Position Description:
Reporting to and under the supervision of the Director of the Student Business Office, performs cashiering duties in the collection of student registration fees and other related tasks which include analyzing student accounts for irregularities and processing of refunds. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Two years full-time equivalent experience in an academic, retail, or service related environment with an emphasis on cashiering and customer service.

Education:
Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) is required. Two years direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each one year (30 semester units) of college. College coursework in accounting, business management or related fields desirable.
