Position Summary
The University at Buffalo, a top 40 public research university and the State University of NY’s flagship university, is searching for an Application Developer in Enterprise Application Services. This position is a software developer role working with cutting edge technology in the enterprise applications unit of one of the largest and most progressive IT organizations in Western NY.
In this role you will:
- Design, develop, test, maintain and document application software for UB’s enterprise systems
- Work with team members and customers in an Agile environment
- Assist more experienced team members in the development of customer specifications
- Understand and utilize contemporary web development tools and techniques
- Stay abreast of new technology and look for opportunities to improve enterprise IT services

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience in the Information Systems field (includes internships and relevant projects). A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in a technical field
- Experience with one or more of the following languages preferred: Angular, Java, JavaScript, Perl, SQL, Salesforce Apex or PeopleCode
